sauna feature stocked kitchen cold chalet restaurant schedule
The lodge location was good for discovering the area. The lodge had a sauna, a nice feature. the Kitchen was WELL stocked, and included washing equipment.
The chalet was really cold upon arrival. I noticed the restaurant not open on Monday and Tuesdays.

Comfortable Stay
kitchen facilities veranda space
The kitchen provided good facilities for preparing meals. I found the veranda a really nice space to enjoy breakfast. Minimal sport facilities and the pool were very beneficial. The chalet had a comfortable, spacious design that perfectly accommodated my needs.
I noticed some animal hair around the lodge and on the pillows. There was also a used, dirty glass next to the bathroom sink. The amount of kindling provided for the log burner was insufficient for my stay.

The resort did not offer logs for the log burner . I noticed the restaurant was closed, so no meals were available there. Guests should be aware of limited dining options.

The chalet included a bath, however the warm water from the boiler had a limited volume. The beds were quite comfy. The chalet also has a very nice veranda for breakfast or lunch, which I liked

The hotel offered a pool and some minimal sport facilities. The natural areas around the golf course provided lovely spaces to explore. The location provides a good central base for planning day trips.

I found the location convenient. the lodge size suited my needs. i appreciated the well equipped kitchen. It was easy to cook meals. the covered balcony was nice since it rained a lot. I used it every day.
the chalet needed some tlc. i found moldy blinds. the shower curtain was useless.

Staff were helpful and polite during check-in. check-out was efficient, and staff handled everything quickly. i received useful information about the area. This helped with planning my day trips.

The beds were good, ensuring i slept well each night. the covered balcony was a plus. It offered some outdoor space. the kitchen came fully equipped. I had no trouble preparing meals.

There is a bar area available if you want a drink. the on-site restaurant has scottish options. This gave meals a local touch. the restaurant menu seemed extensive. You have choices.

There is a play park close to reception, it kept kids entertained. i could access many local attractions. activities include go-karting. I tried this and enjoyed it.
